Verizon Sponsored Sixth Annual "Dance For Those Who Can't" Benefit

On June 7th, 2003, Verizon sponsored the sixth annual "Dance For Those Who Can't," a benefit dance/dinner for the Living AIDS Memorial Garden.
During the event, Verizon presented the Directors with a donation of $3500 to help install and maintain the new irrigation system for the Garden, which is to be installed by the end of the summer.
The mission of the organization is to establish and maintain a garden in memory of those who have died of AIDS, and provide a place of reflection for those who are living with AIDS, and for those who are survivors. The garden takes donations and memorializes a loved one in a plant or brick along the garden's path. Donations range from $200 for a tree marker, $75.00 for a rose garden marker, or $25.00 for an imprinted brick in the walk. Many have shown their support by donating $25.00 and having the brick imprinted with their name as a friend of the garden. Donations are accepted at:
